MOVEit Program Details

MOVEit is Nussbaum’s wellness program that encourages participants to engage in a more active lifestyle. Activity (primarily steps) is tracked using a Fitbit tracker or any device that connects with Google Fit. MOVEit it includes both individual and team challenges, allowing users to pursue personal goals while also creating fun and interactive competition amongst friends.

MOVEit is a long-term wellness program that may be joined at any time. Participants may consist of Nussbaum employees and their spouses.

Participants are rewarded with points that are redeemable for prizes from our MOVEit Catalog.

Activity Trackers (Connected Device)

An eligible activity tracker is required to participate in MOVEit.

MOVEit can connect to Fitbit or Google Fit accounts which will supply activity data to the MOVEit program. This allows users to choose from a wide variety of devices including all Fitbit trackers, as well as Wear OS smartwatches, Apple Watch, and more.

New participants (employees and spouses only) are eligible to receive one Promo Code each for a steeply discounted Fitbit tracker.

Individual Challenges (Monthly)

Every month begins a new individual step challenge. All participants will be challenged to achieve an average step goal ranging between 5,000 and 15,000 steps per day for the entire month.

5,000 Daily Step Average = 1 point
7,500 Daily Step Average = 2 points
10,000 Daily Step Average = 3 points
12,500 Daily Step Average = 4 points
15,000 Daily Step Average = 5 points

Points are not awarded for each level reached, only the highest level achieved.

Team Challenges (Periodic)

Team challenges vary in duration and will be fun and intense as everyone works to get the most steps. Rules and point awards will be outlined for each challenge as point totals may vary between challenges.

Races & Events

You can participate in (by running or walking) an official race or charity event listed below. There’s no limit on how many events you can turn in, so go on and sign up for that next race!

Charity Walk/Run = 3 points
5k Race Event = 3 points
10k Race Event = 5 points
1/2 Marathon = 8 points
Full Marathon = 15 points

If you are participating in another type of event like Ironman, Tough Mudder, Spartan, or Crossfit, email wellness@nussbaum.com with the info, and we will do our best to come up with a fair point award for the event.

Points & Rewards

MOVEit points are the official currency of the MOVEit program. As outlined above, points are awarded for various achievements.

Redeem your points for great rewards found in the MOVEit catalog. Points never expire (points are locked and unusable upon termination or spouse termination from Nussbaum), so you can let them accumulate to redeem for more valuable rewards including a day of PTO!

Reasonable Accomodations

If it is unreasonably difficult due to a medical condition for you to achieve the standards for reward under this program, please contact HR or send an email to wellness@nussbaum.com, and we will work with you to develop an alternative for reward.

MOVEit Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the ways in which we collect, use, and disclose your activity data, specifically your steps data, as part of our fitness challenges.

We only collect the following data from you:

Steps Data: The number of steps you take as tracked by your fitness device or application.

The steps data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Fitness Challenges: To track and compare participants’ progress and performance in our fitness challenges.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your steps data. Therefore, we do not share, sell, or disclose your steps data to any third parties. Your information is used internally within our organization to administer the fitness challenges.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement reasonable measures to protect your steps data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your steps data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Once the fitness challenge ends and the results are finalized, your steps data will be securely deleted from our systems.

Access: You can request access to the steps data we hold about you.
Deletion: You can request the deletion of your steps data at any time.
